Biography:
Tell Us About Your Family

My parents have hearts of gold.  They taught me many great lessons in life and provided incredible opportunities for me and my siblings (3 sisters, 1 brother).  I am the proud Ant of 3 nephews & 2 nieces (though I also count my best friends 2 boys as my nephews too as I consider her my sister).  My father is a veterinarian and my mother was a high school English Teacher but stepped away to raise all of us kids.  They now reside in the Tx Hill Country now with big horses, little horses, donkeys, cattle, lots of goats, dogs and a cat.  I was so fortunate to be raised on a farm riding horses, showing cattle and getting to have every kind of animal a kid could ever hope for!!!
I have a BS in Kinesiology from TAMU , College Station, and a MS in Kinesiology from TAMU.

Tell Us What The Phrase Real Women, Real Football, Real Energy Means To You

Passion for the greatest sport, incredible self sacrifice and the guts to play it.  Loyalty to the people who give their blood, sweat and tears to see her teammates succeed.
Real Women are everyday people who work hard to support themselves and families in many cases.  They come in all shapes and sizes and all have the right to be valued for their true greatness and admired for their efforts and love of football.  In a time where "playing for the love of the game" is fleeting, women's football is a rare scenario where the game itself is honored by players who have no other motivation than, simply, to play the game.

Hobbies/Interesting Things About You

Football is my passion.  I love teaching & coaching; helping others achieve their potential and beyond.  I enjoy wakeboarding & snowboarding and playing various sports.  Working out is a part of life.  Outdoor activities are a plus!  horses, fast cars, fishing, shooting sports, hiking, rolling downhill on random wheeled objects-it's all good!!!
Lydia was the Football Manager at TAMU from 1992-1995.  Lydia was the first female in history of TAMU to do this & first female to letter in football at Texas A&M
