Tell Us About Your Family

My family is originally from England, and we moved to Texas in 1993.  I have a wonderful family, and extended family who are supportive and there for me.  They enjoy watching me work hard to achieve my goals.  I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend Jared and traveling with him.  He's very knowledgeable about football and gives me advice.  I graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos,  Summa Cum Laude in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies & again in 2008 with a Masters of Education degree.  I played collegiate club Rugby for 4 years, and played on 2 Texas Rugby Union Teams(U-23 &2008 Women's All Stars) while attending school.  I am a certified teacher, for grades pre-k-4th and English as a Second Language.  I am currently a Katy ISD substitute looking to get on in the district, seeking a permanent position.

Real Women..... The women of the Houston Energy are ladies from all walks of life, Real Women, who dedicate their time to being a part of a great organization.  The ladies of the Energy have families, careers, and other responsibilities, but still make time for a game they are passionate about.  Our team is a family of hardworking players. 
Real Football.....We have the opportunity to play real tackle football, with pads, helmets and all the gear.  We hit hard and play strong...this isn't flag football, we are tough dedicated ladies!!!
Real Energy.....We've got heart, spirit, dedication, and desire to play the game. Our energy is shown every down, every game.  We never give up!!!

Hobbies/Interesting Things About You

I enjoy traveling, trying new recipes in the kitchen, sewing, swimming, working out, surfing and hanging out with friends and family.  I love to be outdoors, and recently have learned to ski and snowboard, which is alot of fun!!!  An interesting thing about me is I wear yellow cleats, and have been for the past 6 years, no matter what sport I've played!!!
