Giovanni “Gee” Rakesstraw Solo, hailing from Dayton, Ohio, is a proud graduate of Texas Southern University. Gee is an entrepreneur, serving as the owner of both OCD&SERVICES and Embracing Me. Gee finds immense fulfillment in her role as a mother of four children, all while cherishing her four grandchildren.

Currently in her 14th season with the Houston Energy, she stands as a testament to perseverance and dedication. Under the guidance of Coach Brian Wiggins, Gee thrives, proudly holding current record of the longest active player on the Energy team to have never taken a season off.

For Gee, football is more than just a sport; it’s a healing mechanism. Through football, she has confronted past traumas and emerged stronger, serving as an inspiration to others.
