Kathryn Chapman, fondly known as Kat, hails from the serene town of Port Neches, Texas, where her athletic journey began amidst the camaraderie of her older brother and his friends. From early childhood, sports became an integral part of her life, with volleyball and basketball dominating her middle and high school years.

Following her graduation, Kathryn pursued her academic endeavors at Western Governors University before finding her way to the vibrant city of Fort Worth. It was here that her passion for hockey ignited, leading her to join a recreational league where she flourished on the ice until a car accident abruptly halted her playing days.

Despite the setback, Kathryn’s resilience shone through as she embarked on a new chapter in Houston, where her indomitable spirit was put to the test. Encouraged by a dare from her wife, she ventured into the realm of women’s football at the age of 41, defying the odds with a lower right side held together with pins and plates from her previous ordeal.

Seven seasons on, Kathryn remains an unyielding force on the offensive line, a testament to her unwavering dedication and unwavering resolve. Off the field, she is a devoted wife and mother of two, cherishing moments spent with her family amidst her favorite landscapes—at the beach or the lake.

Kathryn Chapman epitomizes the essence of perseverance, embodying the ethos of resilience both in sports and in life, inspiring those around her with her unwavering determination and love for the game.
